screen shot of mint.comHello everyone. I want to share with you something that might help you better manage your money. In the past like most people, I kept track of my finance by having a check book or log, writing down everything I purchased. Writing down everyday transaction is a daunting task. Always having to be aware of your spending, balancing your check book, so you know how much you can spend until your next payday. I just wish I could have this process be automatic, because you’re more worried about money then anything else. That’s were Mint.com comes into the picture.

Mint.com is a web site that you sign into, that manages your money through collecting data through your online bank accounts. Mint.com does not alter your bank account and protects your data with the highest encryption. It just downloads your transactions, categories, and other data. Doing this Mint is able to show you your net worth. The difference between what you owe (debt) and how much your earned (income). Show you neat charts and graphs of your earnings and spending. You can also setup budgets and goals. Have weekly alerts sent to you through e-mail or text and a lot more.

Also Mint comes in a mobile app version, you can download it to your iPhone or Android phone. Have it with you on the go. Now your personal phone has now become your handy financial side kick, just one more reason why I can not live with out my Sprint Evo 4 Android phone. There’s more to Mint, but the best way to experience the joy of knowing how you use your money, is to give it a try, its free. Go to Mint.com and sign up.
