Anime | Summer Wars
I think this anime is colorful, f
ull of life, lot’s of characters. Some humor and romance mixed in the picture. Some action, nerdiness and family feuds. This is not your regular Saturday morning cartoon. It’s straight forward one of the best animated movies to watch. Very entertaining. You should watch it..
Summer Wars, focuses on an 11th grade student that’s amazing at math. Kenji is a part-time coder for a massive virtual simulation world called Oz. People don’t know, but Oz is connected to the real world more than they think.
Kenji is surprisingly asked to do a job, by Natsuki (pronounced Nots-ski) one of the most popular girls in school. She needs him to help celebrate her grate-grand mothers 90th Birthday, more like a family reunion. Little does he know she’s left out one small detail, that he is to pretend to act like Natsuki fiance. Big surprise to Kenji, he doe not have a clue on how to treat a girl, let alone know he has to deceive her large family that have been around for generations.
Kenji meets the family bunch and gets acquainted on Natsuki family heritage. During his stay he receives a text message which seems to be an extremely long math equation. He spends all night solving the puzzle and submits the answer. The next day his face is all over the news, announcing the crash of the virtual world of Oz and he is the cause of it.
Drama erupts and the world goes crazy. It’s like the Y2K bug, computers and electronic systems go hey wire. Nothings working as it should be. Traffic lights malfunction creating bumper to bumper traffic. Bursting water mains flooding the city. Network crashing causing data loss.
Meanwhile, Kenji discovers from his colleague back in school, that it’s the cause of a virus called the Love Machine that’s crashing and taking over Oz by stealing millions and millions of users profiles. What is Kenji going to do? How is he going to save the world from virtual chaos.

Journal | What’s your favorite breakfast?
So not all days go as planned. Getting up in the early morning for work sometimes can be a drag, especially if your running late. And one of the things that I always have to have before arriving to work is breakfast or my day would just be non-productive. Having your body remind you of the aches and pains ” hey dummy I know your late to work, but you could at least feed me, feed me Semore… feeeed meeee”.
So I race out of bed and get ready for work. If you saw me, its like fast forwarding a movie. The worst part is if I have to shave my gritty face I need to be extra careful or I would look like I got in a fight with my razor, not a pretty sight. I’m out the door still damp from showering and what not. Jump into my car heading towards work.
There it goes again “feeeed meee dummy or your gonna regret it”. Just when it happens, my prayers were answered. I saw Elvis, ops I mean Chick-fil-A. I pull up to the drive through and a nice cheery voice spoke “Welcome to Chick-fl-A my name is Megan, how may I take your order”. I replied ” May I have a breakfast burrito with chicken, an orange juice, and a fruit cup”. The girl kindly repeats my order and I confirm. “Please pull up to the window” she said. I paid and got my order.
And with time to spare, I arrive to work just a few minutes to take in the delicious flavor burrito wrap, combined with the perfect jalapeno sauce. When you are running late and are in emergency to have to best premium breakfast, Chich-fil-A is the way to go.
Movie | Green Lantern Premiere Trailer
The new Green Lantern Premiere Trailer is out. Green Lantern Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) gets a green power ring that can create what ever you can imagine. After watching the trailer I just got the feeling “Hey I want to become Green Lantern, why not”? You know what I would do with a green power ring. I wouldn’t have to buy any more razors to shave with. My ring would fabricate a razor and it would never go dull. I wouldn’t have to worry about high gas prices, I would fly myself to work. I would rebuild the houses those tornadoes destroyed in the United States. I would have assisted in the rebuilding of Japan after the earthquake and tsunami. Movie | Thor playing in theatres this Friday May 6th
Another super hero Marvel comic has come to life this week. The God of Thunder, Thor is playing in theaters this Friday May 6th. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is a hard-headed warrior, wielding a magical skull crushing hammer. After disobeying his father’s orders, King Odin (Anthony Hopkins) had Thor banished out of his home world of heavenly magical Asgard, King Odin strips Thor’s God power and hammer. Thor falls down to earth to live among the humans for his disobedience. Falling through a wormhole Thor lands on the earth surface, Thor is discovered by some scientist in the desert of New Mexico. When Thor wakes up, he meets scientist Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who later becomes his love interests.
While Thor is getting well acquainted with the human world, back in Asgard some one is trying to over throw King Odin throne while he is in Odinsleep. Some of Thor’s close friends discover what has happened and quickly finds away to bring back the Thor from banishment. Thor finds a way back to Asgard with his god powers restored and hammer in hand. He faces the new appointed King which is his dark brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston). And who wins the battle against good and evil. You’ll know when you see the movie this Friday.

Movie | Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon New Trailer

I just saw the new updated Trailer for the Transformers 3 movie, the dark side of the moon.
Prediction
From what I can gather from watching the trailer. The ship that crash landed on the moon might be the Ark. The Ark was a legendary ship set out on a journey. Ether to search for something or get away from something. Don’t really know. But what I do know is that in the begin of the trailer you saw a Transformer what looks like, sitting in a captains chair, in the ship that landed on the moon. That’s Sentinel Prime. He is much like Optimus Prime. You can say their family and Sentinel Prime is like the big brother.

The Trailer below sure looks like the humans are fighting a losing battle against the Decepticons. Feel kinda sorry for the Autobots, even thou they saved the humans in the last movie, Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen. The humans still don’t trust the Autobots. Autobots are fighting against all odds. It looks like an entire moon just gave birth to an army of Decepticons and the earth is being taken over. And It also looks like Optimus Prime is giving up, which does not sound like his character, but I don’t blame him. Humans don’t trust them, Decepticons want to destroy them. I hope they have something to turn this plot around.

Movie: Fast in the Furious: Five Fast
This week I just saw the new Five Fast. I believe that out of all of the Furious movies this was by far the best. The movie brings in some characters from each of the Furious series and also brings in to the picture the electrifying Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He plays a bad ass Special Agent, who hunts down people who are on the top of the wanted list.
The movie brings a lot of action, fighting, running, cars, sexy babes, more cars, some racing here and there. And a plot where you ask yourself how are you going to do the impossible? All the action takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Oh when you go see Five Fast, you should wait till the end of the credits. There is a short scene you might want to watch. It might just surprise you… Ill just say “resurrection”.
I saw the movie at an AMC Theatre, IMAX style. Picture was crystal clear and sound audio was superb. I still didn’t like paying $14 for a drink and nachos. At the end I felt that I got my moneys worth, not only for the movie, but also for the IMAX experience. If you’re going to watch a movie even if you don’t think the movie is that good, you should still go for the IMAX or may be the 3D experience. It makes a big difference. I know that now.

Hello viewers, I just wanted to share with you a free app that I use to keep track of my running. In the past I ran track and cross-country and still enjoy going out for a night or morning run to get my mind focused. I always like running, but the thing is that there is little time to keep track of how long you run or how far to run, how many calories you’d burn etc. I wish that there was some thing to keep track of all of the times, distance , etc. and that’s when I found Runkeeper.
Runkeeper is a free Android app that you can download to any Android phone. Just go to the Android Market and download it to your phone. You can also go online a sign up on their web site. My favorite thing about this app is that you can use the GPS tracking function on your phone to keep track of distance, map your route, and more. Below are some screen shots of the web site keeping track of my running data.
When you sign up on the Runkeeper web site you get your own personal profile which you can share with your friends and family.
Also Runkeeper keeps a log of all the activities that you have done. I mostly run so the chart above shows ever run I made and include the distance, time, average pace, and more. You can choose if you want people to see your map of you run route.
Also, there is an area to create your very own running squad. I wish I had this when I was in competition, my team mates could have kept a close watch on each other. Motivate each other for the next track meet. Well I know it would be another way for us to talk smack and for bragging rights.
You have your own fitness report which gives out cool statistics. My favorite are fastest average pace and farthest distance. I always try to push myself to better my run.
You can not only keep track of your work outs, but also track your races.
So there you have it. When I run I always have my Sprint Evo4 Android phone on me with Runkeeper at my side. Tracking my run for important data so I can focus on the run and not worrying about the details. Runkeeper does the job for me. If you an avid runner like me try out Runkeeper.
